Oscar Ribas Reig Archive

The Oscar Ribas Reig archive gathers all the documentation generated by his political activity: as Secretary of the Sant Julià de Lòria town council between 1963 and 1965, as member of the Andorran parliament between 1972 and 1975 and between 1976 and 1979, as a Prime Minister of Andorra between 1982 and 1984 and between 1990 and 1994 and as a politician, adviser since 1994.

Most of this documentation can be found if the official institutions such as the parliament.

Through this archive we can analyse the political career of the first Andorran Prime Minister and his relations.

Julià Reig Ribó Archive

Les archives documentaires The Julià Reig Ribó Archive gathers all the documentation generated by his political activity: as Síndic General between 1960 and 1967 and between 1973 and 1979.

Through this archive we can analyse the political career of a Síndic General who promoted the social security in Andorra, the universal suffrage and the bases of the Andorran administration. He was also key for the creation of the fire brigade and the equity between men and women.

This archive is considered a closed archive because Julià Reig Ribó passed away on the 2nd January 1996.

Tabacs Reig Factory Archive

his archive gathers all the documentation genereted by the Reig family referred to the Tabacs Reig Factory.

The Factory was inaugurated in1909 and closed in 1957, therefore this archive is considered closed. Nevertheless, documentation previous to 1909 and later to 1957. The previous one is related to the workshop that the Reig Family had before the factory and the later one is related to the first years after the opening of the second and more modern Tabacs Reig S.A. Factory (closed in 2007).

These archives help us to study in depth the economical activity that the tobacco produced for the Reig family as well as for the whole country.
