Foundations of the Andorran private law
The edition, in 2005, of Fonaments de dret privat andorrà (Foundations of the Andorran private law) in 4 volumes is a Julià Reig Foundation and Premsa Andorrana SA initiative. Its objective is to expose, in a complete and systematic way, the valid private law in Andorra, warning that the expression private law wants to emphasize that the object of the work is the study of the institutions that in countries of a juridic culture similar to the one in Andorra integrate the civil and commercial law.
The first volume explains the juridic problems referred to the natural and juridical person, and the issued questions referring to the family law, in both the personal and hereditary aspects.
The second volume approaches everything related to the general theory of the obligations, the extra agreement responsability, the extinctive prescription and the agreements general theory.
The third volume studies the diferents agreements. The fourth volume studies the real and inheritance law.
The authors of these four volumes work in the Civil Law Department of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and are: Lluís Puig i Ferriol (coordinator) M. Carmen Gete-Alonso and Calera, M. Eulàlia Amat Llari, Joan Manel Abril Campoy and Xavier Cecchini Rosell.
