Jorge Cebrián, the Andorran Radio and Televisió Broadcast and the Julià Reig Foundation have presented the documentary Capital Punishment, 18th October 1943.

This documentary, directed by Jorge Cebrián and produced by Roger Torruella, talks about the last Andorran convicted  and punished with the death penalty in 1943. The documentary gathers unpublished images, of a great hisitorical value, like the reading of the deth penalty sentence and the procession of people that walked from the Príncep Benlloch square to the graveyard where Gastó (the convicted man) was finally executed.

The statement of the witnesses of the process and the opinion of the historians of that period contribute to make part of our story more comprehensible
