An Inconvenient Truth
An Inconvenient Truth is a documentary about the devastating effects of the climate change. Former Vice President Al Gore shows us a powerful and worrying portrait of the planet situation, menaced by the global warming provoqued by the CO2 emissions consequence of men's actions.
The Julià Reig Foundation sponsored the showing of this documentary during February 2007 with the aim of offering to the tourists and the Andorran citizens the possibility of seeing it and that way contributing to raise the conscience of people about the gravity of the situation.
Gore was a journalism professor. He dedicated a lot of time to work on the ecology. Very critical with the Bush politics in Irak, he was candidate to the democrat primaries in 2004. In 2005 he created the TV chain Current TV. In 2006 he showed to the world his very successful documentary An Inconvenient Truth.
